‘I’ll Never Betray Davido, He Is My Helper’ – Carter Efe
Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has reaffirmed his loyalty to Afrobeats star Davido, describing the singer as his “helper” and “daddy.” Speaking on TVC, Carter said he would never betray Davido and revealed that the singer recently answered his call.
Carter credited Davido with playing a major role in his career breakthrough, particularly after the singer appeared on his Twitch livestream in December 2025. He said the record-breaking stream, which attracted more than 80,000 concurrent viewers, significantly boosted his visibility and earnings.
Carter has previously contrasted Davido’s support with his experience with Wizkid, whom he accused of ignoring him following the success of his tribute song, Machala.
