Surrey Police Disrupt Major Drug Network in Nearly $900K Bust
Surrey Police Service says a major drug trafficking operation has been disrupted following a months-long investigation that led to a large-scale seizure of narcotics valued at close to $900,000.

Authorities report that three men were initially arrested after a search warrant was executed in May at a suspected drug-linked residence, with assistance from the Canada Border Services Agency.
The operation, part of what police called “Project Phantom,” uncovered significant quantities of illicit substances including fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis, and opium.

Police say one of the suspects, a 24-year-old man, was later re-arrested and formally charged with drug trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking, and remains in custody.

The other two individuals were not charged and were subsequently removed from Canada by border authorities.
Investigators believe the charged suspect played a key role in a distribution network that may have served dozens or even hundreds of clients.
