Daddy Freeze Questions Nathaniel Bassey: “What Happened to Your Miracles…” Over Alex Ekubo’s Death
Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has sparked fresh debate online after taking a swipe at gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, over comments he made during the service of songs held in honour of late actor, Alex Ekubo.

Nathaniel Bassey had recounted how he was invited by a pastor friend to minister and pray for Alex while he was still in hospital.
According to him, the visit could not hold as planned because Alex passed away a day before the scheduled appointment.
He explained that despite the actor’s death, he still went ahead to attend the family’s gathering on the rescheduled day, where he prayed and ministered during the memorial service.
Reacting in a now-viral Instagram Live session, Daddy Freeze questioned the essence of the visit and drew attention to what he described as a missed opportunity for divine intervention, referencing claims of miracles often associated with such ministries.
He suggested that, given the circumstances, expectations of healing or even resurrection would naturally arise from the kind of faith-based testimonies frequently shared publicly.

The comments have since triggered mixed reactions online, with supporters of both personalities weighing in on the sensitive discussion surrounding faith, miracles, and public ministry in moments of loss.
