King Ochacho Reveals How He Made His First ₦1 Billion at 21
Billionaire businessman and real estate mogul King Ochacho has claimed that he made his first ₦1 billion at the age of 21 through charcoal exports to Chinese buyers.
Speaking during a livestream with content creator Peller, Ochacho said he initially worked as an agent for a company involved in the charcoal export business, connecting the firm with Chinese customers. He claimed the dividends from the business eventually took his earnings to the ₦1 billion mark.

Ochacho also revealed that he later ventured into politics but eventually stepped away to concentrate on business and serving God. He said his interest in politics was driven by his desire for good governance and described President Bola Tinubu as one of the greatest politicians he has encountered.
The businessman’s ₦1 billion claim was made during the livestream, with no financial documents presented to independently verify the figure.
