Francis Duru’s Family Announces Burial Dates for Nollywood Veteran
The family of late Nollywood actor Chief Francis Duru has announced burial arrangements for the veteran entertainer, who died on October 22, 2026. In a statement shared on his official Instagram page, the family celebrated his remarkable life and enduring legacy, while thanking the public for their support following his death.
The funeral activities will begin with a Service of Songs and Tributes on November 25 at Family Worship Center, Wuye, Abuja, starting at 5:00 p.m. A second tribute service will hold on December 10 at the late actor’s family compound in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
The funeral and interment are scheduled for December 11 in the same Imo community. The statement was signed by his son, Ebuka Duru, and sister, Anthonia Chenyi, who said additional tribute services would be organised by relevant associations in different states.
