Blessing CEO Opens Up About Pain of Losing Nine-Year-Old Son
Nigerian relationship therapist and influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has shared an emotional tribute to her late nine-year-old son, Bryan, expressing fears that she may never recover from the loss. In a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, November 1, she reflected on the promises she had made to him.
“I will keep living in denial. I miss you. I bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle,” she wrote, adding that she would forever cherish his memory. She also expressed her belief that her son was in heaven and promised to carry his memories wherever she went.
Blessing’s tribute comes days after she spoke about Bryan’s death in an interview following her release on bail on October 24, after months in detention over separate fraud allegations. She said her son had suffered from chronic asthma since birth and had experienced repeated hospital visits. According to her account, she was informed of his death while in custody. Bryan died on June 8.
