Man Wanted After Wife, Two Daughters Killed, Flees UK for Zimbabwe

Police in the United Kingdom have launched an international search for a 42-year-old man suspected of killing his wife and two young daughters before allegedly fleeing the country for Zimbabwe.

The suspect, Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, who is also known as Mark, is believed to have travelled through Heathrow Airport on Saturday using his British passport. Investigators say he is currently thought to be in Zimbabwe.
The case came to light after officers forced entry into a home on Carnoustie Drive in Great Denham, Bedfordshire, where they discovered the bodies of a woman and two children on Monday.
Although formal identification has not yet been completed, police believe the victims are Tshuma’s wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, and their daughters, Natalie, 15, and Nala, five.
To aid the investigation, Bedfordshire Police released CCTV footage showing the suspect at Heathrow Airport before his departure from the UK.
Detective Inspector Lee Martin said investigators have been following several leads and are working with both British and international law enforcement agencies to locate the suspect.
He appealed directly to Tshuma to surrender, stressing that fleeing abroad would not prevent authorities from bringing him before the law.
Police also expressed sympathy to the victims’ relatives, describing the incident as a heartbreaking tragedy that has deeply affected family members, friends and the wider community.
Assistant Chief Constable John Murphy said detectives are dedicating extensive resources to determine exactly what happened and to ensure the suspect is apprehended.
He added that, while there is currently no indication of any wider threat to the public, officers have increased patrols in the area to reassure residents as the investigation continues.
The deaths have left the Great Denham community in shock, with neighbours gathering near the family home to lay flowers and pay tribute to the victims.
Many described the mother as warm, kind and devoted to her children, while others expressed disbelief that such a tragedy could occur in their neighbourhood.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed suspicious activity around Carnoustie Drive on Friday or Saturday, or anyone with information that could assist the investigation, to come forward as inquiries continue.
