Charly Boy Defends Daughter: ‘I Can’t Control a 50-Year-Old Woman’s Life’
Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has defended his daughter following criticism over her engagement to a female partner, saying he cannot dictate how an adult should live her life.
In a post on Instagram, the singer said his role as a father is to offer advice and express his views, not control his daughter’s decisions. He noted that she is 50 and old enough to understand herself and make personal choices.
Charly Boy revealed that his daughter has given him five grandchildren and a great-grandson, adding that she went through difficulties in her previous marriage before meeting her current partner.
He said he cannot choose happiness for his daughter, stressing that she will always remain his child and concluding that everyone deserves the freedom to pursue happiness and live according to their truth.
