“Nothing Will Get Through Unless a Deal, or Total Surrender, Is Accomplished” — Trump Warns Iran
US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, accusing the country’s leadership of making contradictory statements over ongoing diplomatic engagements while insisting Washington will not ease pressure without major concessions.
In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump claimed Iranian officials privately sought talks with the United States but publicly denied that any negotiations were taking place.
“Iranian Leadership is unbelievably duplicitous! They ask for a meeting, some would say ‘beg,’ talks begin, with more scheduled in the immediate future, and they say, openly and proudly, that they’re not having any discussions, that nothing is being talked about, and they’re only dealing with ‘Oman’,” Trump wrote.
The US president also dismissed Iran’s claims regarding control of the Strait of Hormuz, arguing that the United States effectively controls access to the strategic waterway.
“Nothing gets through to Iran, unless we want it to, and nothing will get through, unless a Deal, or Total Surrender, is accomplished,” he said.
Trump concluded his message by restating Washington’s long-standing position on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
“It is very simple, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!” he declared.
