Stuttgart Defender Names Osimhen Among World’s Best Strikers Ahead of Champions League Clash

Stuttgart left-back Maximilian Mittelstädt has described Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as one of the best forwards in world football ahead of their Champions League meeting with Galatasaray. Mittelstädt called the Super Eagles star “very dangerous,” acknowledging the quality and consistency he has displayed over recent seasons.

Osimhen has scored 10 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season, including a strike against former club Lille in the Champions League. Despite receiving treatment during Galatasaray’s most recent Turkish league outing, the Nigerian forward is expected to feature against Stuttgart.

The 27-year-old is also closing in on another Galatasaray Champions League scoring milestone. With eight goals in the competition for the Turkish club, he is approaching Burak Yılmaz’s tally of 10 as he continues to strengthen his reputation on Europe’s biggest stage.
