“You Can’t Slaughter My Family and Expect Me to Pray for You” — Oyedepo Blasts Tinubu
The Founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the country’s worsening security situation.

The cleric also expressed concern over the deepening economic hardship, urging the Federal Government to take urgent and decisive action to address the challenges confronting Nigerians.
Speaking in a video that has gained widespread attention on social media, the cleric expressed frustration over the continued killings and attacks in different parts of the country, saying many Nigerians have endured the situation for too long.
Oyedepo said the government’s response to the crisis has fallen short of expectations, warning that growing public frustration could have serious consequences if urgent steps are not taken.
He also condemned those responsible for the killings, insisting that victims should not be expected to sympathise with those behind such acts of violence.
“The president needs to act now and stop pretending. You can’t slaughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household.
“The government is pretending like they don’t know what to do. I have been quiet for a long time, but the bubble is about to burst,” he said.

The cleric further accused the government of failing to demonstrate the urgency required to confront the country’s security challenges, arguing that Nigerians deserve stronger action to protect lives, restore public confidence and address the nation’s economic difficulties.
