Jan Blachowicz Reveals Brutal Facial Injury After UFC Belgrade Defeat
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz has given fans a look at the facial injury he suffered during his UFC Belgrade loss to rising contender Navajo Stirling. The Polish veteran shared photos on social media showing the deep cut before and after it was stitched, captioning the post: “It is what it is. Another one for the collection.”
Blachowicz was stopped by Stirling via technical knockout in the co-main event after the New Zealander dropped him with a powerful strike and followed up with relentless ground-and-pound. The victory marked the biggest win of Stirling’s career and further established him as a serious contender in the light heavyweight division.

The defeat also extended Blachowicz’s winless streak to five fights. His last victory came in May 2022 against Aleksandar Rakic. Since then, he has fought to draws with Magomed Ankalaev and Bogdan Guskov while suffering losses to Alex Pereira, current champion Carlos Ulberg and now Navajo Stirling.
