It’s Not a Sin to Be Alone and Die Single — Pastor Damina
The founder of Power City International, Pastor Abel Damina, has advised women who are unwilling to submit to their husbands not to enter marriage.
Speaking during a church service, Damina said feminism is a commendable movement when it seeks equal rights and opportunities for women in society.
However, he argued that problems arise when the ideology is used to oppose the responsibilities that come with marriage.
According to the cleric, women who reject the idea of submission should consider remaining single rather than committing to a marital union they do not agree with.
“If a lady doesn’t want to submit to a husband, don’t marry. It’s not a sin for you to be alone and die single,” he told the congregation.
Damina maintained that marriage requires commitment from both partners and insisted that Christian teachings place submission to Christ at the center of a believer’s life.
His remarks have since generated reactions online, with supporters backing his interpretation of biblical marriage while critics argue that modern relationships should be built on partnership and mutual respect.
