Burna Boy and Vybz Kartel Lead as Reggae Land Draws Record 135000 Fans
Reggae Land 2026 has gone beyond being just another music festival. More than 135,000 fans descended on Milton Keynes for the three-day celebration of reggae, dancehall and Caribbean culture, making it the biggest edition in the festival’s history.

Nigerian superstar Burna Boy made history on Friday as the first headline act from outside reggae and dancehall’s immediate sphere. His performance drew about 35,000 fans, highlighting the deep musical connection between Africa and Jamaica. The festival continued with performances from Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, Tarrus Riley, Barrington Levy, Shenseea and many others across seven stages.
The biggest moment came on Sunday when Vybz Kartel closed the festival before a crowd of around 50,000 people. Shenseea joined him on stage for their collaborations, while Kartel later welcomed his fiancée Sidem, with the couple announcing that they are expecting a baby.

Reggae Land will return to Milton Keynes’ National Bowl on July 31 and August 1, 2027.
