US Company Unveils T-Shirt That Can Stay Fresh for 30 Days Without Washing
A US-based clothing company, HercLeon, has unveiled a T-shirt it says can remain fresh for up to 30 days without washing, even with daily use.
The new HercShirt V5.0 is the latest version of the company’s clothing line and is designed to resist body odour and moisture over an extended period.
HercLeon, which previously gained attention for its self-cleaning underwear, said the shirt’s fabric contains seven special ingredients, including copper, silver, zinc, gold and volcanic ash, as well as two undisclosed materials.

The ingredients are woven into the fabric rather than simply applied to its surface.
According to the company, copper helps inhibit bacteria responsible for body odour, while zinc helps neutralise sulphur compounds associated with sweating.
Volcanic ash is also said to help absorb moisture and external odours because of its porous nature.
HercLeon said the HercShirt V5.0 can stay fresh for more than a month, even under heavy use. The company also claims that requiring less frequent washing could help the shirt last longer than conventional T-shirts.
The shirt is expected to begin shipping in early November and will initially be available in black. The company plans to introduce navy blue, burgundy and dark green versions next year.
For customers seeking cheaper options, HercLeon is also offering a $39 version designed to remain fresh for three days of heavy use, while the standard model can reportedly go for up to 14 days without washing.

The HercShirt V5.0 is priced at $79.
