Matt Riddle Hails Vince McMahon, Blasts Triple H, CM Punk and Dana White

Former WWE star Matt Riddle has praised Vince McMahon as the best boss he worked with during his MMA and professional wrestling careers, while taking several shots at Triple H, CM Punk and UFC president Dana White.

Speaking on the That Sweet Pop podcast in New Zealand, Riddle explained that he valued McMahon’s direct approach to criticism. According to him, McMahon would immediately point out what a performer was doing wrong rather than offer false praise. He contrasted this with his experience under Triple H, suggesting that McMahon’s honesty helped him make quicker improvements.

Riddle was less complimentary about Dana White, recalling that the UFC boss expressed his true feelings about him only after his departure from the promotion. He also linked his public support for cannabis to tensions with the UFC. Turning to CM Punk, Riddle claimed he had a better overall reputation than the former WWE champion, although he acknowledged Punk’s physical appearance and fitness. His latest comments are more restrained than his August 2025 criticism of Punk’s wrestling and fighting abilities.
