Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe is expected to miss around 10 to 12 days after suffering a left knee injury while scoring France’s goal in their 1-0 win over Turkey.
Mbappe scored in the 54th minute before appearing to limp, raising fears of a serious problem. However, Real Madrid later confirmed that he suffered a hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee, with no serious ligament damage reported.
The timeline means Mbappe could return when Real Madrid face Villarreal on October 10 or wait until their Champions League meeting with Roma on October 14. He is also expected to be available for the first El Clasico of the 2026/27 season against Barcelona on October 25, provided there is no setback in his recovery.
