Conor McGregor Eyes UFC Return at International Fight Week 2027 for ‘The Last Dance’
Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor has revealed that he is targeting International Fight Week 2027 for what could be the final fight of his current UFC contract.

The Irish superstar shared the update after suffering a serious knee injury during his UFC 329 comeback against Max Holloway, a fight that ended just 69 seconds into the opening round.

McGregor later confirmed he sustained ACL and meniscus damage, while UFC CEO Dana White estimated his recovery could take about a year.
In a recent social media post, McGregor shared footage from his training camp and wrote, “What was to be a generational beating is now to be reset. IFW 2027. The Last Dance.”
If McGregor returns during International Fight Week 2027, it could mark his final appearance under his current UFC deal.

A rematch with Holloway remains a strong possibility after their latest meeting ended prematurely, although no official bout has been announced as the former champion begins his road to recovery.
