Dana White Finally Reveals Boxing’s Next Heavyweight Superstar
Undefeated American heavyweight Da’Mazion Vanhouter has earned strong praise from Zuffa Boxing founder Dana White, who believes the 21-year-old could become the next superstar of the division. Vanhouter boasts a 13-0 professional record, including 10 knockouts, and is set to face Ivan Balaz on the Chris Billam-Smith versus Cheavon Clarke card on Saturday, November 7. An impressive performance could earn him a place on the proposed Anthony Joshua versus Tyson Fury undercard.

White said Vanhouter has the potential to become a major star but stressed that he must continue proving himself as the competition and pressure increase. The boxing executive described the heavyweight division as particularly important to the sport and said Vanhouter’s ability to handle pressure would be crucial to his progress.

Vanhouter also weighed in on Deontay Wilder’s upcoming fight against Australian Jai Opetaia, scheduled for the Joshua-Fury event in Cardiff on December 11. He questioned whether Wilder should be on the bill, arguing that another defeat could further damage his reputation. Vanhouter believes Opetaia’s skills could trouble the former WBC heavyweight champion if he avoids Wilder’s powerful right hand.
