Pastor Adeboye’s Family Celebrates as Granddaughter Marries in Baltimore, USA

A new chapter has begun for Oluwafunmilayo Adubi, granddaughter of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, following her marriage to David Joseph in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.

The wedding took place on October 21, 2026, at House of Praise, bringing together family members, senior RCCG leaders and other guests. Pastor Adeboye offered prayers and a special marriage blessing for the couple, while the bride’s mother, Pastor Bolu Adubi, personally handed her daughter over in marriage. Bolu is Adeboye’s only daughter, married to Pastor Akinsanya Adubi.

Footage from the ceremony has attracted attention on social media, with master of ceremonies Foluso Ogunjimi, popularly known as Sokoyokoto, also sharing posts celebrating the union. “It’s all about Oluwafunmilayo, the graceful granddaughter of Pastor E A Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. The union is greatly blessed,” Ogunjimi wrote. In another post, he congratulated the couple with the words, “Great Grandparents loading. Congratulations Daddy & MGO”. The celebration reportedly blended Nigerian and Western wedding traditions, reflecting the couple’s cultural backgrounds.
