Family, friends and members of the Chute Boxe academy gathered on Wednesday to bid farewell to Nascimento, who died after reportedly suffering a heart attack in his sleep at the age of 34. During the emotional funeral, teammates formed a guard of honour as his casket was carried out, paying tribute to a respected member of the team.
Fighting back tears after the ceremony, Oliveira shared a heartfelt message, describing Nascimento as a symbol of discipline, commitment and character. He promised that every time Chute Boxe fighters step into the cage, they will carry his spirit with them and continue to honour his legacy.

Nascimento joined the UFC in 2021 and competed in the flyweight division, winning four of his six fights inside the Octagon. His passing has left the MMA community mourning the loss of a talented fighter whose influence extended far beyond his performances in the cage.
