Toba Ijaya’s Joyful Wedding Moment Sparks Emotion After His Death
A touching video of late National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) organising secretary Toba Ajiboye, popularly known as Toba Ijaya, has gone viral following his death. The clip, recorded during his traditional wedding in April, shows the transport union chieftain happily spraying money on his wife as she danced before family and guests.
Toba Ijaya reportedly died on July 14 after suffering gunshot wounds in an attack by yet-to-be-identified gunmen. The assailants allegedly intercepted his vehicle along Ikorodu Road in Lagos and opened fire, leaving the vehicle riddled with bullets. Although initial reports suggested he survived the attack, he later succumbed to his injuries.
The emotional wedding footage has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many mourning his tragic death just months after celebrating a major milestone in his personal life. Authorities are yet to announce any arrests in connection with the killing.
