French Teenager Arrested In Alleged Plot To Kidnap Mbappe
A French teenager has been arrested over an alleged plot to kidnap France captain and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe.
The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Clement L, allegedly targeted Mbappe after the footballer represented France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to Le Parisien, Clement L has been charged over several alleged crimes and kidnapping plots carried out between April 11 and August 19.

The reported offences took place in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt and Santenay.
Mbappe, 27, was reportedly among 26 people identified as potential targets for home invasions and kidnappings.
Other alleged targets included footballers, businesspeople and rappers, according to reports on the investigation.
Clement L is currently being held at Villepinte prison in Seine-Saint-Denis over separate alleged offences, including pimping and armed robbery.
Investigators reportedly found a list of potential targets on mobile phones seized from the teenager’s prison cell.
The teenager allegedly used Snapchat to communicate with members of his network and coordinate criminal activities while in custody.
Clement L reportedly goes by the alias Lester Z and has since been placed in solitary confinement.
He was charged in Nanterre on August 21 and remanded in pretrial detention as investigations into the alleged plots continue.
Meanwhile, Mbappe has continued playing for Real Madrid despite the reported kidnapping threat in his home country.
