Manchester United Striker Chido Obi Makes Surprise Exit
Manchester United striker Chido Obi has left the club temporarily after agreeing to join Dutch side Willem II for the 2026/27 season.
The teenage forward is expected to complete his medical tests before linking up with the Dutch club.
Obi featured for Manchester United during pre-season but will now continue his development in the Netherlands.

The agreement does not include a buy option, meaning Willem II will not have the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move on X, describing the deal as completed and stating that Manchester United had authorised the striker’s medical.
Romano also confirmed that Obi’s stay at Willem II will run until the end of the season.
