Saudi Arabia Faces Houthi Threat After US Declines Military Help
Saudi Arabia is considering its options after the United States declined a request for assistance against attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, despite the two countries’ longstanding alliance.
The development comes amid growing Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, including strikes reported around the capital, Riyadh. The situation has raised questions about the future of the security relationship between Washington and Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia is now weighing how to respond to the attacks without direct US military support, as tensions continue to rise across the region.
