Barcelona Could Raise €26 Million From Three La Masia Sales
Barcelona are looking to raise significant funds from the sale of three young La Masia talents as the club continues to balance its finances and manage a crowded first-team squad.
According to reports, Héctor Fort, Jofre Torrents and Tommy Marques could all leave the club this summer, with Barcelona targeting a combined €26 million from the three transfers.
Fort is attracting interest from several European clubs, with a fee of between €8 million and €10 million being discussed. Borussia Dortmund are reportedly among the clubs interested in the defender.
Jofre Torrents, meanwhile, is expected to move to Ajax in a deal worth around €6 million. Barcelona are keen to include future protections in the agreement, potentially through a buy-back clause.
The biggest potential fee could come from Tommy Marques. Barça reportedly want around €10 million for the midfielder, whose chances of breaking into the first team have diminished following the arrival of Rodri.
Despite allowing the youngsters to leave, Barcelona reportedly want to maintain some control over their futures through buy-back clauses or sell-on percentages.
If all three deals are completed at the club’s asking prices, Barça could bring in approximately €26 million, turning La Masia into an important source of transfer revenue while giving the young players an opportunity to continue their development elsewhere.
