UFC 329: What’s Next for McGregor and Other Top Losers?
Following UFC 329, attention has shifted to the next steps for some of the night’s biggest losers, with several intriguing matchups already being discussed.

Conor McGregor: McGregor’s comeback ended after just 69 seconds when he suffered a serious knee injury against Max Holloway. Once he recovers, a trilogy fight with Holloway or a long-awaited showdown with Michael Chandler could be next.

Benoit Saint Denis: Saint Denis saw his four-fight winning streak come to an abrupt end after being submitted by Paddy Pimblett in under a minute. A matchup against the loser of the upcoming Mateusz Gamrot vs. Quillan Salkilld fight is viewed as the most likely next step.

Cory Sandhagen: Sandhagen dropped his third fight in four outings after losing to Mario Bautista. A clash with fellow bantamweight contender Aiemann Zahabi could offer him a chance to get back on track.

Lone’er Kavanagh: Kavanagh came up short against Brandon Royval in the Fight of the Night but enhanced his reputation with a spirited performance. A fast-paced showdown with former title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi is being tipped as his next fight.

Terrance McKinney: McKinney suffered a dramatic comeback loss to King Green after a strong start. A lightweight bout against Alexander Hernandez, or possibly Michael Johnson, is being considered as his next assignment.
