OpenAI to Cut Off AI Access to Musk-Owned Cursor
OpenAI says it plans to end its agreement with Cursor, the AI coding tool now owned by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, citing concerns over contract compliance.
The move adds another chapter to the long-running feud between Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Cursor’s co-founder said the company is in discussions with OpenAI to resolve the dispute.

OpenAI has proposed November 12, 2026 as the shutoff date, while Cursor currently offers AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Musk-linked Grok.
