Odumeje Makes Startling Declaration About His Death, Tells Followers What Not to Do

Controversial Nigerian cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has attracted attention after declaring that he would disappear rather than die when his earthly assignment is complete.

The preacher made the statement while addressing his followers, warning them against making arrangements for his burial because he claimed he would not experience a conventional death.

Odumeje questioned how anyone could celebrate him after his death, insisting that his departure from the world would not involve a traditional burial ceremony.

“You can never celebrate me when I am dead. Who would go and put their foot in my burial? Don’t come and plan a burial for me. I can never die. The only thing I will do when I’m done with my job, I will disappear,” he declared.

The cleric’s remarks have attracted attention because of his unusual claim that he would vanish after completing his mission rather than die in the conventional sense.

Odumeje also described himself in grandiose terms, referring to himself as a lion and portraying himself as someone destined for stardom.
