Michael Page Leaves UFC for Misfits Boxing as Fury, Joshua and Jake Paul Make Headlines
Michael “Venom” Page has joined Misfits Boxing on a multi-fight, multi-year deal after his UFC contract expired in September, opening a new chapter in his combat sports career.

Page, 39, recorded five victories and one defeat in the UFC, finishing his latest run with four consecutive wins. He reportedly felt disrespected after the promotion failed to offer him a new contract.
Jake Paul has received medical clearance to return to boxing following the broken jaw he suffered against Anthony Joshua in December 2025.
He is targeting a comeback in early 2027, with several high-profile opponents under consideration.
Paul’s potential opponents include Canelo Alvarez, Ryan Garcia, Francis Ngannou, Deontay Wilder, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has also expressed frustration over his contract and pay, raising the possibility of fighting Paul.
Meanwhile, Ben Whittaker defeated Conor Wallace by unanimous decision in Birmingham to win an IBF light-heavyweight title eliminator.
However, Wallace troubled Whittaker late in the contest after the Englishman controlled most of the earlier rounds.
Whittaker’s trainer, Andy Lee, revealed that the boxer had suffered COVID-19 before the fight. Whittaker admitted losing focus during the contest, while Wallace’s late rally has strengthened calls for a possible rematch.
Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed to fight on December 11 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Matchroom president Barry Hearn believes Joshua may be more vulnerable following recent setbacks, although he remains the heavier puncher.
Their London press conference was unexpectedly friendly, with Fury joking about collecting rent from Joshua. Joshua described the proposed contest as an opportunity and a moment he believes destiny has prepared for him.
Elsewhere, Darren Till has listed Carl Froch, Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, Mike Perry and Lorenzo Hunt among his desired opponents after defeating Yoel Romero in bare-knuckle fighting.

Canelo Alvarez also hopes to stage his final fight in Mexico’s Estadio Azteca, with four or five more bouts possible before retirement.
