Jon Jones Names Missing UFC White House Event Among His Biggest Regrets
Former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has admitted that missing the UFC White House event was one of his biggest regrets, despite believing his victory over Stipe Miocic may have been the perfect ending to his fighting career. Jones has not fought since defeating Miocic at UFC 309 in November 2024.

Speaking to The Schmo, Jones described the Miocic victory as a career highlight because his father, his late brother and then-President-elect Donald Trump were present. He said defeating a fighter widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights gave him a memorable moment inside the cage.

Jones also revealed that he had hoped to feature on the White House card, although UFC CEO Dana White previously said he was never under consideration. Reflecting on the missed opportunity, Jones admitted he rarely regrets his decisions but felt he should have been part of the historic event, adding that he would be happy if he never fought again.
