Jean Silva Gets New Opponent for Noche UFC Main Event
Jean Silva will remain in the Noche UFC main event on September 12, but his opponent has changed. Former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez has withdrawn after suffering a groin injury, with Jose Delgado stepping in to face Silva in Glendale, Arizona.
Delgado enters the fight with a 4-1 UFC record, including recent wins over Andre Fili and Austin Bashi. However, he faces a major test against Silva, who has built a reputation for relentless pressure and aggressive striking. Silva’s only UFC defeat came against Diego Lopes, but he bounced back with a win over Arnold Allen.

The late change gives Delgado a huge opportunity to make a statement. A victory over Silva in a UFC main event could quickly push the 28-year-old into the featherweight rankings, while Silva will look to prove that the change of opponent has done nothing to derail his momentum.
