Fresh Speculation Trails 2Baba as New Video With Annie Sparks Reactions
Fresh conversations have erupted across social media after a video surfaced showing Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, dancing together during a night out in Lagos.

The clip emerged at a time when unverified reports have continued to circulate about the singer’s alleged separation from Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, fuelling renewed public interest in his personal life.
Although none of the parties involved has officially addressed the latest claims, the videos have generated widespread debate, with many fans interpreting the reunion as a possible sign of reconciliation.
The renewed attention follows a turbulent period in the singer’s private life. In January 2025, 2Baba publicly announced that his marriage to Annie had ended.
A few months later, he confirmed his relationship with Natasha Osawaru, and the couple later welcomed a child together in November of the same year.
In recent weeks, however, speculation has intensified after online reports suggested that the relationship between 2Baba and Natasha had hit a rough patch.

The rumours gained further momentum following claims linked to an alleged conversation involving the singer’s younger brother, as well as observations by social media users that Natasha had stopped wearing what many believed to be her engagement ring.
Adding to the intrigue, another resurfaced video showed Annie speaking emotionally about the end of her marriage, prompting fresh reactions across different social media platforms.
Several Nigerian celebrities urged the public to avoid inserting themselves into the situation, insisting that only those directly involved know the true state of events.
Popular blogger Tunde Ednut reacted lightheartedly, saying he was more interested in seeing Natasha’s response to the circulating videos.
Actor Rotimi Salami, on his part, remarked that offering relationship advice to someone deeply in love is often an exercise in futility.
Actress Evan Okoro responded briefly with an expression of surprise, while media personality Do2dtun questioned the authenticity and timing of the viral footage, suggesting it might be an old recording and cautioning people against jumping to conclusions.

As conversations continue online, neither 2Baba, Annie Macaulay Idibia nor Natasha Osawaru has issued an official statement confirming or denying the latest wave of speculation.
