Davido Responds to Cheating Claims Over Alleged DM Screenshots from South Africa
Davido has responded after a South African woman posted screenshots she claimed showed the Afrobeats star sending her private messages while married to Chioma. The woman, identified online as Lesthabo, alleged that Davido complimented her and asked about her background.
Davido, however, has strongly denied the authenticity of the screenshots. He shared a screenshot of his own Instagram message interface, pointing to differences between it and the images posted by the woman. He accused her of being a teenager seeking attention online, writing: “That’s just a teenager fishing for attention online.”
The allegations have since sparked a heated debate among fans, with some supporting Davido’s explanation while others remain skeptical. For now, the singer maintains that the screenshots are fake, leaving the controversy largely as a social-media dispute without independent confirmation of the alleged messages.
