Dana White Fires Back at Eddie Hearn Over Fury vs Joshua Fight
UFC CEO Dana White has hit back at Eddie Hearn after the Matchroom Boxing promoter questioned White’s involvement in the planned Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua heavyweight clash.
Hearn claimed Joshua’s contract prevents UFC and TKO from being involved in promoting the fight and said he should sue White over attempts to stage the bout in the United States. White, however, pointed to Netflix’s announcement and challenged Hearn, asking, “Who’s going to stop me?”
Hearn also questioned how White’s involvement would benefit Joshua and Matchroom, saying there was currently no agreement to change the existing contract. The dispute adds another layer to the long-running tension between the two promoters as preparations continue for the December 11 showdown.
