Chelsea Thrash Bournemouth, Arsenal Beat Leeds, Man Utd Draw With Tottenham as Barcelona Defeat Getafe

Chelsea produced the most emphatic result of the day, overwhelming Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge with a commanding attacking display that delivered five goals and a much-needed Premier League victory.

Jordan Henderson and João Pedro scored twice each, while Morgan Rogers added another goal as Chelsea took control of the contest early. Henderson opened the scoring in the second minute before Rogers doubled the advantage a minute later.

João Pedro extended Chelsea’s lead shortly after the restart, but Bournemouth reduced the deficit through Evanilson in the 51st minute. The hosts responded with two more goals, as João Pedro completed his brace before Henderson sealed the 5-1 victory with a superb free-kick in the 70th minute.

The result provided Chelsea with an important response after their previous league defeat, while Bournemouth were left to reflect on a difficult afternoon in which their defence conceded twice within the opening three minutes.

Arsenal also collected three valuable points after recovering from a goal down to defeat Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Leeds took the lead in the 55th minute through James Justin, putting Arsenal under pressure as the visitors threatened to frustrate the home side.

However, Riccardo Calafiori equalised in the 62nd minute before substitute Bruno Guimarães scored the decisive goal in the 70th minute to complete Arsenal’s comeback.

The victory strengthened Arsenal’s position in the Premier League title race, keeping them level on points with Manchester City, with goal difference separating the two sides.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United missed the opportunity to secure a home victory after Tottenham Hotspur scored a late equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw.

United appeared to be heading towards three points after Bryan Mbeumo put the hosts ahead in the second half. Tottenham, however, continued to push for a response and found their reward when Dominic Solanke scored in stoppage time.

The late goal rescued a point for Tottenham and denied Manchester United a victory in front of their home supporters. Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was also sent off during the encounter, adding to the drama of an already tense contest.

Meanwhile, Barcelona strengthened their La Liga campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Getafe.

The Spanish giants dominated the contest to secure all three points, maintaining their pursuit of domestic success. The victory also gave Barcelona another opportunity to build momentum as the La Liga season progressed.

Across the four matches, Chelsea recorded the biggest victory, Arsenal demonstrated their resilience with a second-half comeback, Manchester United were frustrated by Tottenham’s late equaliser, and Barcelona enjoyed a comfortable win against Getafe.

The results provided contrasting fortunes for the eight clubs, with Chelsea and Barcelona celebrating convincing victories, Arsenal recovering from a difficult position, and Manchester United left disappointed after conceding late.
