Jake Paul Sets Christmas Eve Comeback After Brutal Joshua Defeat
Jake Paul will return to professional boxing on December 24 in Dubai, nearly a year after suffering a double jaw fracture in his knockout defeat to Anthony Joshua. The 29-year-old confirmed that he will headline a Most Valuable Promotions event, marking his first professional fight in Dubai, although his opponent has yet to be announced.

Paul was stopped in the sixth round of his December 2025 heavyweight clash with Joshua after being knocked down four times. The defeat left him with fractures in two places in his jaw, requiring surgery, titanium plates and a second operation during his recovery. He now says he is hungrier than ever as he prepares to resume his boxing career.

Former UFC fighters Darren Till and Alistair Overeem have reportedly been discussed as possible opponents, but no agreement has been confirmed. Paul, who holds a professional record of 12 wins and two defeats, says he is ready for the next chapter, with his promotional team promising further details about the Dubai event in the coming weeks.
