VeryDarkMan Calls Adeleke APC Puppet, Accuses Davido of Emotionally Blackmailing Osun Voters
Social media activist VeryDarkMan has accused Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of being an APC puppet, questioning his reported support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

VeryDarkMan made the allegations in a video shared on his official Instagram account on Thursday, October 15, 2026, following reports of Adeleke’s involvement in the City Boy Movement.
The activist claimed Adeleke’s reported appointment as Osun coordinator of the pro-Tinubu movement suggested that the governor had maintained political ties with the All Progressives Congress.
According to VeryDarkMan, Adeleke’s political alignment could influence the 2027 presidential election in Osun State, alleging that the governor might manipulate results to favour Tinubu.
He revisited his earlier criticism of Adeleke, claiming the political contest between the governor and the APC during the Osun governorship election was misleading.
VeryDarkMan alleged that Adeleke had always been politically aligned with the APC, despite contesting the governorship election under the Accord Party rather than the ruling party.
He argued that the election appeared to be a general contest to voters but was essentially an internal political struggle involving individuals he believed shared political interests.
The activist further claimed Adeleke avoided openly demonstrating his alleged relationship with the APC before the election because public opposition to the party could have damaged his electoral chances.
VeryDarkMan also mentioned Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, alleging that he contacted Adeleke before and after the governorship election in Osun State.
He claimed Wike encouraged Adeleke to present his Certificate of Return to President Bola Tinubu and express appreciation, although the allegation was not independently verified.
Turning to Davido, VeryDarkMan accused the Afrobeats singer of using social media posts to influence Osun voters during the political contest involving his uncle, Governor Adeleke.
The activist alleged that Davido’s posts amounted to emotional blackmail intended to persuade residents to support Adeleke instead of making independent decisions about their preferred candidate.
However, VeryDarkMan’s allegations remain unverified, and no evidence presented in the account establishes that Adeleke manipulated election results or that Davido deliberately emotionally blackmailed voters.

The controversy has renewed attention on Adeleke’s reported political alignment, Davido’s involvement in Osun politics, and the alliances that could shape Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
