Businessman Accuses Blessing CEO of Collecting N69.15m Under False Pretences
A businessman has accused social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, of collecting N69.15 million for a five-year lease of a Lekki property she allegedly did not own.

Dr Onuoha Okeigwe made the allegation while testifying as the first prosecution witness in a case against the influencer before a Lagos court.
Okeigwe told the court that Blessing CEO presented a property at No. 1 Tunbosun Osobu Street, Lekki, as hers before he agreed to the transaction and paid the money.
However, he said the arrangement became problematic when a man identified as Mr Tom reportedly arrived at the premises with police officers and had some workers arrested.
According to the witness, he contacted Blessing CEO about the incident, but she allegedly denied knowing the man and maintained that she owned the property.
“I paid N100,000 to secure the release of my workers,” Okeigwe told the court, recounting how the dispute developed.
The businessman further testified that he had WhatsApp messages in which the influencer allegedly sent him photographs of the building as evidence of her claimed ownership.
He also disclosed that he paid additional agency, legal and caution fees in connection with the transaction.
Okeigwe further alleged that Blessing CEO collected money from another person for the same property, raising questions about her claim of ownership.
The allegations form part of a two-count charge filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, against the influencer over the disputed N69.15 million transaction.
The commission accused Blessing CEO of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing, alleging that she misrepresented her ownership of the Lekki property to secure payment.
According to the EFCC, the alleged incident occurred on or about March 21, 2025, when Blessing CEO reportedly induced Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited to pay N69.15 million for a five-year lease of the property.
Blessing CEO was arraigned on June 9, 2026, and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The allegations remain before the court, which will determine the case based on the evidence presented.
