Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex-Wife Jennifer Meyer’s Wedding to Nigerian Billionaire’s Son
American actor Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, and Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi’s son, Geoffrey Ogunlesi, in Hawaii on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, weeks after Maguire and Meyer finalised their divorce on September 21, nearly a decade after announcing their separation.
Meyer, 49, is a jewellery designer and founder of Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, while her new husband, Geoffrey Ogunlesi, is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company.
Their wedding attracted several high-profile guests, including Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, as well as actress Courteney Cox and fashion designer Rachel Zoe.
Maguire, 51, and Meyer were married in 2007 before separating in 2016. They share two children, Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and Otis Tobias, 17, both of whom attended their mother’s wedding alongside her third child.
Meyer welcomed a baby girl with Ogunlesi earlier in 2026. She confirmed the arrival of their daughter in a Father’s Day tribute to her fiancé in June, celebrating their growing family.
The couple’s relationship became public in the summer of 2023. They made their red-carpet debut together later that year at the annual Baby2Baby Gala, a fundraising event supporting children living in poverty.
Ogunlesi proposed in August 2024, with Meyer announcing their engagement on Instagram through a post celebrating the moment. The jewellery designer later revealed that the proposal had been a complete surprise.
In an earlier interview with PEOPLE in May, Meyer spoke warmly about the relationship between her former husband and her fiancé, explaining how they had maintained a close family bond after her separation from Maguire.
She said they continued to travel together and celebrate holidays and birthdays as a family. Meyer also praised Maguire’s parenting and described him as an exceptional father and former husband.
According to Meyer, Ogunlesi and Maguire share a good relationship, helping them maintain a supportive family environment for their children.
Geoffrey Ogunlesi leads The Ogunlesi Group, which manages entertainment and music talents, including Young Thug, charlieonnafriday and Myles Frost.
His father, Adebayo Ogunlesi, is a Nigerian-born lawyer and investment banker known internationally for his work in finance and investment.
The wedding marks a new chapter for Meyer and Ogunlesi, whose relationship has developed into a blended family involving their children and a continued friendship between Meyer and her former husband.
