Sean O’Malley Denies Being Offered Payton Talbott Fight at White House
Sean O’Malley has denied claims that the UFC offered him a fight against rising bantamweight Payton Talbott at the promotion’s planned White House event.

Talbott said he had been in talks for a potential matchup with O’Malley at UFC Freedom 250 in June. However, O’Malley dismissed the claim, calling it “absolutely bullsh*t” and insisting he was never offered the fight.
The former UFC bantamweight champion also rejected suggestions that he has avoided Talbott, pointing to his recent record against some of the division’s biggest names. “Ain’t ducking no one,” O’Malley wrote on Instagram.

O’Malley’s next move could depend on the upcoming bantamweight title fight between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333. He said he would pursue a title shot if Yan wins, but remains open to fighting Talbott if Dvalishvili retains the belt.
