Yabani described the election as hitch-free, saying voting took place across the 178 electoral wards and 17 local government areas in the state.
He said 10 political parties participated in the election and fielded candidates for the chairmanship and councillorship contests.
According to him, votes were counted and collated after the close of polling, with councillorship results announced at ward level and chairmanship results declared at local government collation centres.
