Lando Norris Extends McLaren Contract Until 2030
Reigning Formula One world champion Lando Norris has signed a new contract keeping him with McLaren until at least 2030. The deal also includes an option for a further multi-year extension.
Norris, 26, joined McLaren’s junior programme at 17 and made his F1 debut in 2019. He won McLaren’s first drivers’ championship since Lewis Hamilton’s 2008 title last season.
Norris said McLaren is his “home” and that the team’s goal is to keep winning championships. He currently sits fourth in the 2026 drivers’ standings, 83 points behind Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli with 11 races remaining.
