Russian Missile Attack Kills 10 in Northeast Ukraine as Zelensky Vows Response
At least 10 people have been killed after a Russian missile attack struck northeastern Ukraine, according to reports. The attack comes as the conflict continues to take a heavy toll on civilians, with the United Nations also reporting a sharp rise in civilian casualties in July.
The latest strikes reportedly hit the Kharkiv region, where Russian drone attacks have also caused fires and damage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has vowed that Ukraine will respond to the latest attack, as fighting between the two countries continues.

The UN says civilian casualties in Ukraine increased by nearly a third in July compared with the previous month, highlighting the worsening humanitarian impact of the war.
