UFC 330 Results: Makhachev Defeats Garry to Retain Welterweight Title
Islam Makhachev has successfully defended his UFC welterweight championship, defeating Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision in the UFC 330 main event.
Makhachev dominated the scorecards, winning 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47 to extend his impressive run at the top of the division.
In the co-main event, Mackenzie Dern also retained her strawweight title, beating Gillian Robertson by unanimous decision with identical 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47 scorecards.
Jalin Turner delivered the fastest finish of the main card, knocking out Kaue Fernandes just 39 seconds into the opening round.
Other main-card winners included Dustin Stoltzfus, who submitted Mansur Abdul-Malik via rear-naked choke, while Esteban Ribovics stopped veteran Edson Barboza by second-round TKO.
On the preliminary card, Chidi Njokuani, Charles Johnson, Donte Johnson, Tresean Gore, Lucas Fernando, Neil Magny and Jeremiah Wells also picked up victories.
