Mike Tyson Leaves Reporters Laughing With Bizarre Trump Election Prediction at White House
Boxing legend Mike Tyson sparked laughter at the White House after making an unexpected prediction about the upcoming November elections in the United States. Asked how Republicans would perform, Tyson responded, “I think Donald Trump will win,” despite the president not being a candidate in the election.
Realising his mistake, Tyson threw up his hands and said, “I can’t believe you guys put me up here.” A White House aide quickly intervened, telling reporters, “No tough questions!”, prompting laughter in the room.
Tyson’s appearance highlighted his close relationship with Trump, which dates back to the 1980s when the president advised the boxer and helped finance his 1988 fight against Michael Spinks. Despite their long-standing friendship, the former heavyweight champion appeared less comfortable discussing politics than boxing.
