I Want to See My Jesus Some Day — Nicki Minaj Declares
Trinidadian-American rapper and singer Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, has spoken publicly about her Christian faith, declaring her determination to remain committed to God.

Minaj shared the message on X on Sunday while reflecting on her faith and her hope of one day meeting Jesus.
“I’ve got my mind made up And I won’t turn back because I want to see my Jesus some day,” she wrote.
The rapper accompanied the message with an image of Psalm 36, a passage that contrasts the conduct of the wicked with God’s love, faithfulness, righteousness and justice.
Minaj later explained why she shared the New International Version (NIV) of the passage rather than her preferred King James Version (KJV).
She said the NIV could make the message easier for people who are new to Christianity to understand.
“This is what the Lord is saying today,” she wrote.
“I’d normally only post the KJV, but I think you’ll understand why the NIV may cut through a little more to newer believers. The Lord richly bless you.”
Minaj, who has spoken about her Christian faith at different points in her career, has increasingly used her social media platforms to share Bible passages, prayers and personal reflections about God.
Her latest message comes as the rapper continues to publicly express her religious beliefs, using her large online following to share Christian teachings and encouragement with her fans.
Nicki Minaj rose to international fame with her distinctive rap style, colourful persona and chart-topping hits.

She became one of the most commercially successful female rappers of her generation and has remained a prominent figure in global popular culture.
