Popular Nollywood Actress Dies at 32 After Kidney Infection, Buried in Abuja

Nollywood actress and beauty queen Tenia Abraham has died at the age of 32 after battling a kidney infection. She was buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja on Saturday, October 17, following her death on October 13, 2026.

Her family announced her death on social media, describing her as a vibrant talent, loving daughter, sister and friend. In an obituary shared on her Instagram page, the family paid tribute to her passion, kindness and contributions, lamenting that she had died too soon.

Abraham also held the Beauty Queen South South 2020 title. Following news of her death, an August social media post in which she urged people to let love lead resurfaced, drawing emotional reactions from followers.
