Barcelona Join Arsenal, Chelsea in Race for Nigerian-Eligible Teenage Star

Barcelona have joined Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan in monitoring 15-year-old Justin Ehikioya Ejodamen, a highly rated midfielder in Borussia Dortmund’s academy.

Ejodamen is eligible to represent Nigeria, Germany and Italy and currently features for Dortmund’s U16 side as well as the Italian youth national team. His technical ability, composure and playing style have earned him comparisons with Jude Bellingham.

According to Sport, Barcelona have sent scouts to watch the teenager, while Dortmund are keen to keep him. FIFA regulations prevent international transfers for players his age, although exceptions apply to certain players aged 16 to 18, making April 2027 potentially important for Ejodamen’s future.
