Dana White Backs Paddy Pimblett vs Ilia Topuria UFC Showdown

UFC president Dana White has given Paddy Pimblett’s long-awaited fight with Ilia Topuria a major boost, saying he likes the idea of the two rivals facing each other.

Pimblett has repeatedly called for a fight with Topuria and even suggested they could coach a season of The Ultimate Fighter together. The Liverpudlian believes their rivalry and contrasting personalities would make for a major television event.

White, however, stressed that several factors, including title fights and timing, could determine whether the matchup happens. Pimblett recently returned to winning ways with a first-round submission of Benoît Saint Denis at UFC 329 after previously losing to Justin Gaethje in his first UFC defeat.
